Every dog is different. That is why our team develops personalized exercise and activity-building programs. We research the breed, conduct a free initial consultation to assess the shape they are in and then come up with an exercise game plan for your furry family member. A program might consist of running and hiking or it might consist of walking and then running or it might start with playing in the yard or park. The fitness program will be designed for your dog.

We can mix and match services to fit your dog’s exercise needs. For example, if you want your pet worked with 3 times a week, one session might be playing in the park, the next session running and the last session hiking or brisk walking.

When your dog starts our fitness program we slowly build up his or her endurance because our goal is to improve your dog’s fitness and good health, not just log miles.

We monitor progress with a GPS tracker, and modify the program when necessary. It is our mission to ensure that each dog gets the right type and amount of physical activity – whether it’s playing tug-of-war in the backyard or running in the Boise Foothills.

After each run, hike or walk you will receive a GPS created graphic of the route, distance and time spent on the adventure.

Running & Hiking

Our running and hiking sessions begin with a short warm up walk and end with a cool down on the way back home. The safety of the dogs is our top priority! Our team is trained to carefully to watch for discomfort including: dehydration, overheating, and fatigue. If we see any signs of struggling or tiring, we will adjust the workout.

Each customized running and hiking session lasts 30 – 120 minutes and the following can be provided:

- Full run or hike for time period requested

- Fresh water breaks

- Positive reinforcement treats

- Text or e-mail cute photos and daily progress report, including an activity report from our GPS tracker.

Adventure Fitness combines structured pack hikes and fast-paced group walks for active dogs who need more exercise, enrichment, and outdoor stimulation than a traditional neighborhood walk can provide. Depending on the weather, trail conditions, and the needs of the group, outings may take place on Boise-area trails, in the foothills, at local parks, or along the Greenbelt.

Dogs are thoughtfully grouped according to temperament, size, pace, energy level, and social compatibility. Each adventure begins with secure pickup, calm introductions, a warm-up, and potty time before transitioning into the main activity.

During the outing, dogs enjoy sustained movement, varied terrain, purposeful sniffing, environmental exploration, and healthy pack socialization. We reinforce trail and leash manners, confidence, focus, and appropriate behavior around people, other dogs, bicycles, wildlife, and changing outdoor conditions.

The pace and route are carefully selected to provide a meaningful fitness challenge while keeping the group safe and comfortable. Water, rest, and recovery breaks are provided as needed, and each dog is closely monitored for signs of fatigue, stress, overheating, or discomfort.

Secure transportation is included with pickup and drop-off at your home. Because Adventure Fitness is a complete door-to-door experience, total care time includes transportation, group organization, warm-up, the scheduled activity, and safe returns—not just the time spent hiking or walking.

Every adventure is GPS tracked, and pet parents receive a detailed report with the route, distance, photos, potty updates, and highlights from their dog’s experience. This service is best suited for dogs who are comfortable traveling and participating safely in a structured group environment.

Walking

We also offer fast-paced walks for our dog clients. This is ideal for puppies and older dogs that may not be up for running or hiking or just haven’t run in a while. Don’t worry – we never walk more than two dogs at a time so there won’t be any pack walking.

Each customized exercise session lasts 30, 45, 60 or 120 minutes and the following can be provided:

- Full walk for time period requested

- Fresh water breaks

- Positive reinforcement treats

- Text or e-mail cute photos and daily progress report, including an activity report from our GPS tracker

In-home activity program – for both dogs and cats!

We realize that not all of our furry friends can go running and hiking or maybe even out walking, which is why we offer a customized in-home exercise program. We are loving pet care companions so this service is perfect for a pet with separation anxiety or a love bug that can’t get enough cuddle and play time. This is also the service we provide for our cat owners!

Each customized in-home activity session lasts 15 to 60 minutes and our team provides the following:

- Indoor or outdoor playtime and/or an exercise program

- Potty breaks

- Fresh water refill

- Massage or brush (if requested)

- Feeding (if requested)

- Medication administration (if requested)

- Text or e-mail cute photos and daily progress report

Twenty minutes can make a world of difference when your pet is waiting at home.

Our 20-Minute In-Home Session is a personalized care visit for cats and dogs who need a dependable check-in, a familiar face, and thoughtful attention while you’re working, traveling, or simply away for the day. It offers essential pet care and peace of mind without removing your pet from the comfort and security of home.

Every visit is customized around your written instructions and your pet’s normal routine. Because each household is different, we prioritize the most important needs first and complete additional requested tasks as time allows.

For dogs, the session may include:

• A backyard or designated outdoor potty break

• Fresh water and a scheduled meal

• Treats according to your instructions

• Indoor or outdoor playtime

• Affection, companionship, and one-on-one attention

• Light enrichment and mental stimulation

• A quick wellness and comfort check

• Cleaning visible pet accidents when time permits

• Making sure doors, gates, crates, and pet areas are secure

For cats, the session may include:

• Serving wet or dry food according to their routine

• Refreshing water bowls or fountains

• Scooping and tidying litter boxes

• Treats and interactive play

• Brushing or affection when requested and welcomed

• Calm companionship for social cats

• Respectful visual wellness checks for shy or hiding cats

• Cleaning small food or litter messes when time permits

• Confirming that doors, windows, and designated pet areas are secure

Shy, nervous, and independent pets are never forced to interact. We move calmly, speak softly, and allow each animal to decide how much attention feels comfortable. Even when a cat stays hidden or a dog prefers quiet companionship, we carefully observe their behavior and confirm that they appear safe and well.

Meals are prepared according to the instructions in your client profile, including measured portions, wet and dry food combinations, supplements, or separate feeding arrangements for multi-pet households. Medication administration may be added when scheduled in advance and supported by clear instructions.

Your home matters, too. When requested—and as the 20-minute visit allows—we can bring in mail and packages, water a small number of plants, move garbage or recycling bins, rotate lights, adjust blinds, and check accessible doors, gates, and windows. We also watch for visible concerns such as leaks, unusual indoor temperatures, damaged property, open gates, or anything else that appears out of place.

Before leaving, we complete a final security check to ensure your pets are comfortable, food and water are properly set, litter or potty needs have been addressed, and all designated doors, gates, crates, and entry points are secured.

After every visit, you’ll receive a detailed digital report with photos, feeding and water confirmation, potty or litter-box updates, behavior notes, completed household tasks, and any concerns requiring your attention.

Travel time is included in the service price. This session is ideal for routine daytime check-ins, meal and potty visits, cat care, senior-pet support, and households that want reliable care with clear communication.

With a full hour available, we can follow your pets’ routine properly, spend time earning their trust, provide physical and mental enrichment, and care for your home without rushing through the essentials.

This service is especially valuable for multi-pet households, energetic dogs, social cats, senior animals, pets with detailed feeding routines, and families traveling for work or vacation. It gives us enough time to care for each pet individually—not simply complete a checklist and leave.

For dogs, the session may include:

• A neighborhood walk or extended backyard activity

We also care for the home surrounding your pets. When requested, the session may include:

• Bringing in mail, newspapers, deliveries, and packages

• Watering indoor or outdoor plants

• Rotating lights and adjusting blinds or curtains

• Checking accessible doors, windows, gates, and pet enclosures

• Watching for leaks, unusual temperatures, power issues, or visible damage

• Confirming that food, litter, medications, and pet supplies are stocked

• Helping the home maintain a lived-in appearance while you’re away

Before leaving, we complete a final walkthrough. Food and water are checked, litter and potty needs are confirmed, pet areas are tidied, animals are safely settled, and designated doors, gates, crates, windows, and entry points are secured.

After every visit, you’ll receive a detailed digital care report with photos, feeding and water confirmation, potty or litter-box updates, behavior observations, completed household tasks, and immediate notice of anything unusual.
